Position Background:

To take Ekart to the next level, it is pertinent to reach out to more and more customers and make Ekart the preferred choice and continue to innovate on services and deliver Customer delight.

This position will influence and shape this business by identifying and tying up with potential partners not just in eCommerce but beyond. The candidate should have the ability to dream big, Act rapidly and have a history of success.

Business strategy:

- Know the customer: Deeply understand customer behaviour, develop new customer insights

- Own the business: Co-own the P&L, develop the business model, understand where opportunities are and create a viable business to service them

- Know the market: Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on size, internal capabilities, etc.

- Know the competition: Understand the competition & Ensure Ekart stays well ahead of competition

- Influence the leadership: Convert strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional leadership and drive the changes required

Account Management:

- Make Account partners in driving disruptive changes.

- Develop deep and long standing relationship with the Accounts - to drive relationships from the strategic to the tactical

- Own the terms of business with the Account - Rate card/SLA/ Demand Forecasting etc.

- Ensure high-share of mind from the Account. Build deep ties.

Market Understanding:

- Develop a thorough knowledge of the market - short term and long term trends

- Have an in depth knowledge of competition and Accounts and ability to influence the market

- Develop and implement industry best practices. move the industry with you!

Desired Competencies:

- Desire and ability to think like the customer

- Ability to connect with people across teams & levels

- Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills

- Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion

- Highly analytical and be willing to learn

- Strong understanding of technology and business

- Strong bias for Action - Flipkart works at a very rapid pace

- MBA from a premier Institute with 4-6 year work experience in Key Accounts Management.

- Preferred Industry - FMCG/D
