Senior Manager - IT Risk Control - Information Security

Position: Senior Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for Manager/Senior Manager Risk Control (Information Security):

Establish and monitor key risk indicators for Information Security Management as well as implement corrective action plans to mitigate risks.

Monitoring the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Information Security Management System based on the ISO/IEC 27000:2013 series standards, internal security policies & Procedures and applicable laws & regulations.

Liaison with various departments and offer strategic direction to related governance functions on information security matters.

Offering internal management consultancy advice and practical assistance on Information Security Risk and Control matters throughout the organization and promoting the commercial advantages of managing information security risks more efficiently and effectively.

Analyze transactions, internal reports and financial information for potential fraud risks

Maintain reports of significant risks and recommendations

Create policies, procedures and control assessments in response to identified risks

Proactively identify and address risk issues and weakness in existing products, policies and processes

Evaluate the effectiveness of the company's internal control framework in addressing risks and accomplishing the company's goals and objectives

Ensure effectiveness of Business Continuity Plans and IT disaster recovery in conjunction with relevant functions and third parties.

Key Contributor to establishing the evolving risk culture

- Education Qualification

At least 3 years of experience in Information security management or related functions such as IT audit and IT Risk Management.

Information Security management qualifications such as CISM / CISA.

Certification as lead Information security auditor will be an additional advantage.

Typically a background in technical IT roles with a clear and abiding interest in information security.
