Senior Manager - IT Infrastructure/Network Architect - Insurance/Media

Job Responsibilities

- Design and Planning of Data Centre infrastructure and augmentation as per requirement.

- Design and Plan the data center hardware capacity and augment as per business need and growth.

- All Intranet and Internet domains are maintained and managed like: subdomain creations, domain names registrations & renewals, SSL certificate, Active Directory replications to DR.

- Design the technical Infrastructure; effectively integrated solution fits into existing infrastructure for each Projects

- Document current state architecture; consult on development projects; help deploy solutions that meets business and technical requirements

- Participate in architecture reviews and/or audits; define and maintain documentation of infrastructure and technology standards, processes and policies related to infrastructure

- Provide technical Infrastructure support; on-call support and support for any escalated trouble tickets in operations.

- Provide comparison of products for solutions and build architecture design document in Vision and PPT- s

- Regularly building Teams technical skills and knowledge by knowledge sharing.

- Should have technical expertise including hands on experience in several of the following:

- Virtualization, Storage, Networking, System Management, Data Centre Operations and processes, knowledge of services and hosting providers.

- Support Engineering, disaster recovery and business, continuance, applications and design.

Technical Skills

- Hardware: (Server Class) Dell, IBM, Fujitsu & HP Server Class, HP C 7000, IBM E Blade Centre, Fujitsu-Siemens Primary RX6000 S4 Blade Chassis and latest with Cisco UCS Blades Systems.

- Virtualization: VMWare/Hyper-V Server Virtualization, VMWare/Citrix Desktop Virtualization

- SAN Storage: EMC DMX4 950, EMC VNX 5600- 5200 or any other Enterprise level storage

- SAN Switch: Brocade Enterprise Director DS 6520R (96 ports), Brocade DS 4900 B (64 port), IBM SAN Switches

- Replication Technology: EMC Recovery Point Appliances, Oracle Data Guard 11g, MS SQL Log Shipping

- Load Balancer: RADWARE App Director ODS Server Load Balancer or Citrix NetScaler Load Balancer

- RDBMS: Microsoft SQL 2000/2005/2008, Oracle 11g or 12c

- Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2012, Solaris 11, Red hat Linux 6/7 or other flavor of Linux servers

Minimum Education - BE (Electronics & Computer Science), BCA & MCA

Candidates having experience in managing data center, IT infra projects & partner's management in Insurance, IT service and Media industries
