Senior Manager - Human Resources - NGO (5-15 yrs)
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy, operations, development and implementation
- Create and align HR and workforce strategies for the organization.
- Strategize and manage the overall talent management process.
Processes
- Ensure that effective resourcing solutions are applied to select the right candidates within the timescales required.
- Implement recruiting strategy in order to meet the hiring plans in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Manage performance management processes to maintain a high performance culture.
- Set up and manage training and development process.
- Manage compensation and benefits process.
- Be creative to develop and implement an appropriate reward strategy which attracts and retains the right staff, and rewards and encourages high performance
- Give inputs in implementing efficient HR systems. Will also be involved in the design, implementation and maintenance of employment policies.
- Ensure employee benefit programs are communicated and implemented, so that benefits are well understood and smoothly administered.
- Provide Employee Relations support to the business to effectively resolve employee relations and performance management issues.
- Ensure continued implementation of culture and values through communication, events and mentoring
- Ensure that manpower is within and as per budget
- Resolve conflict that gets escalated and set the climate for collaboration within the team
- Advising on implementing, reviewing and redesigning policies and systems
Leadership / Representation
- Ensuring that the Team is guided by and fully compliant with the PMS (Performance Management System) to contribute towards a functional, effective and respected organization
- To take on other tasks or responsibilities, as requested by the reporting authorities
Relationship Management
- Maintain relationships with key stake-holders both within and outside
- Create and maintain relationships with other state departments and corporate team
People Development
- Ensure does not lose out on any opportunities for people development and growth
- Managing the issues of the team and ensuring smooth relations between the teams
- Keeping the staff motivated to deliver their best results
- Conduct performance appraisals, and identify and ensure support for capacity building needs
- Work with the Finance/Admin /HR Officers to manage Magic Bus's legal compliance in your zone

d. Experience of working successfully with managers in other parts of own organisation or partner organisations to deliver major change

Qualification & Experience
- Post graduate in Human Resources Management, or other related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
