A leader in the Entertainment industry in India which is also publicly listed company is seeking to hire a Sr. Manager - HR whose primary responsibility would be to lead Organizational HR initiatives across all the verticals in line with industry standards and strategic business goals & create and manage HR guidelines & HR handbooks; actively engage with all levels of managers to create alignment and implementation
- Design, plan, and implement compensation and benefits programs & participate in compensation surveys
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
Policy Formulation :
- Planning and identifying key areas of HR intervention
- Aligning HR strategies and practices in line with business goals and targets
- Reviewing Policies and procedures relating to talent acquisition, Career progression,Performance Management, Employee retention and welfare
- Auditing HR practices and procedures and devising and implementing standard/ best practice performance benchmarks
Performance Management and ROI Analysis :
- Devised Performance appraisal plan and defined parameters for evaluation of performance- mapping the KRAs and KPIs in consultation with Business Heads.
- Identified key parameters for career development, redeployment, and training.
- Initiated Competency mapping across the verticals benchmarking the key competencies for different business verticals.
- Analyzed and developed career Progression plan and introduced Succession planning for senior Management personnel through development and assessment centres
- Analyzed the ROI ( Returns On Investment )
Sustaining Employee Commitment :
- Initiated and monitored review and revision of HR policies related to Employee
- Internal and External Environment Management
Compensation & Benefits :
- Conduct annual compensation surveys, and create industry benchmarks
- Formulate policies in collaboration with line and HR teams to facilitate annual performance management programs
- Interacting and negotiating with Union matters of Policy formulation and grievance resolution. Interfacing with Statutory authorities etc.
Candidate Profile :
- MBA preferably based in Bangalore with 12 - 16 years experience in MNC from Hospitality/manufacturing or service verticals.
Person profile:
- Should have sound knowledge of statutory compliances and the impact of same the industry
- Experience working with a diverse workforce
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience
- Plan, organize and prioritize work
- Assign and supervise the work of the HR organisation
