We have been retained by a professionally managed Life Insurance Company with global affiliations to identify a - Senior Manager - HR Generalist- to be based at Navi Mumbai  Job Purpose :  - To focus on partnering with business leaders to develop strategies & achieve organizational objectives.  - Provide support and guidance to less experienced members of the HR team in their day-to-day operational roles.  Responsibilities :   - The person will have to carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas that is employee relations, training, and performance management, on- boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.  - Provides front-line of HR support to employees and managers.  - Fosters and supports a positive, employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance and employee engagement.  - Supports development of a superior workforce that reflects the values and purpose of the organization.  - Manages and creates the employee health and safety program.  - Ensures the organization is compliant with all applicable employment laws.  - Conducts new-hire orientations, compliance training's and new manager assimilation's.  - Partners with other HR specialty functions that is compensation, staffing, learning and development, and act as a point of contact and liaison with clients to deliver full HR services.  - Counsel employees and provide support to managers concerning work related problems.  - Collaborate with a team of human capital professionals to deliver outstanding talent initiatives to the business.   - Participate in leadership meetings and drive the talent agenda  Skills :  - Excellent written and oral communication skills  - Highly developed project management skills  - Result oriented and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines  - Excellent computer skills (word, excel, outlook, power point, and various internet browsers)  - Self-motivated and driven  - An ability to think strategically and a solution-based mentality.  Candidate Profile :  Candidates should be a MBA or have a Diploma in Human Resources Management with 3 to 6 years of experience as a HR- Generalist in life insurance Companies or nbfc's.
