Job Description:

Job Title: Global Sourcing

Job Level: AM/ Manager

Function: SCM

Purpose of the Job:

The main purpose of the Job is as below:

- Responsible for Sourcing of network equipment's Radio Access (2G/3G/4G), IP RAN, Transmission, Core etc.

- Working closely with Global Sourcing Team in India to implement the best practices of Sourcing in Africa

- Ensuring Transparency and enhanced governance in Network procurement.

- Tracking Costs and ensuring efficiency year on year

The incumbent is expected to do all the traditional supply chain activities like

- Sourcing with Cost optimization achieved through negotiations on Specifications and Unit cost.

- Contract Management & Governance

- Inventory planning/Warehousing & Logistics

- Reverse Auctions/Price Verification

- Focus on Pricing, Contract Management, Partner Relations, Dispute resolution for all products and/or services under various categories.

Key Deliverables:

- Selection, Development and Management of Strategic partners

- Create Efficient plans for Standardization and Sourcing Strategies

- Conduct cost bench-marking - Rationalization to get economies of scale

- Design programs to achieve targeted cost savings

- Effective contract management (adherence to scope/ SLA's and KPI's of the contracts)

- Management of Vendor expectations
