Senior Manager - Finance - Private Equity Fund (6-10 yrs)
Our client which is a leading Private Equity Fund is seeking for Senior Manager Finance.
Location : Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
PORTFOLIO COMPANY
- Review of portfolio company MIS, financial statements, business performance and cash flows. Analysing and presenting performance internally on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Tracking key aspects related to finance at portfolio companies (working capital, cash flows, compliance and tax matters) and to some extent taking leadership in resolving key issues with portfolio company management
- Assist portfolio company raise debt/ track debt. Leadership on this will be provided by Director Finance
- Interact with multiple stake holders and participate in the monthly business reviews.
- Roll out of the analytical reports which facilitate the implementation of business strategies
- Assist in creating a financial discipline in the business through regular reviews
- Assist in preparation/review of annual budgets and forecast by providing inputs on business drivers and continuous monitoring of actual with the budgets.
FUND
- Take leadership with certain aspects of fund performance and reporting to partner team. (Not to be mixed with Fund Accounting)
- Assist in diligence and investment/ divestment process from a finance perspective
Qualification: CA / MBA Finance with 6-10 years experience in the area of finance & accounting.

- Strong data mining, problem solving, & analytical skills with ability to summarize findings.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive, independent and self-managing; Organized, Detail Oriented & Results-driven.
- Partnership oriented with ability to communicate at all levels.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with and deliver to multiple stakeholders.
- Leadership in tasks. Is able to get work done effectively by consultants/ third parties.
- Understands all aspects of finance; Business /Commercial aspects, Accounting and Accounting Standards, Tax (direct and indirect), Compliance, Controls, Treasury and Banking.
