Educational Qualification :
C.A/ I.W.C.A/ Post Graduate in Financial Management from Premier institutes
Experience :
Minimum 7-8 years relevant experience, of which at least 2 years in FP&A role and experience in finance of Retail, FMCG or Pharma company preferred
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Lead HQ projects from Finance side and co-ordinate with Regional/ Global colleagues for successful closure. Ability to independently work on projects within stipulated timelines
Projects can be of the following nature :
- Setting up of new affiliates for the Group
- Creation of Shared Services division in India
- TTC project for Company, India
- SKU Assortment Rationalization for company India
- GE Benchmarking for company, India
- Promo Evaluation for company, India
- Support the Planning & Forecasting vertical & diligently tracking Plan vs Actuals for company categories for company India
- Support the creation of & consolidation of strategic 5 year planning (SRM) for company, India in close co-ordination with all internal stakeholders
- Support the creation of & consolidation of Annual Business Planning (ABP) for company, India in close co-ordination with all internal stakeholders. Prepare timely Forecasts (Feb/ June/ Sep) in TM1 and submit to Regional team
- Adhere to Regional/ HQ reporting calendar. Ensure timely submission of Plans/FC in TM1/ CIS & regular reporting of monthly Commentaries/ Risks & Opportunity matrix & other HQ/ Regional requirements
- Tracking TTC and in-depth analysis. Resolution of Regional/Global queries on the same. Provide complete visibility to Management on Price Waterfall from MRP to NS
- Tracking category wise /channel wise Promo spends vs Budget/ LY. Budget management and ensuring spends in line with plan (with additional sanctions). Promo evaluation signoff template roll out in business in alignment with Regional requirements
- Lead Monthly management review meetings with strong focus on business steering. Bring out key business highlights & action points every month for possible management action. Strong and continuous follow up on minutes to logical conclusion
- Analysis of various types of Trade Spend and Consumer Spend including cost of sales at outlet and Outlet Reach in close co-ordination with Commercial team
- Ensure accuracy & completeness of Plans/ FC/ ACT reported by BDF India & institute a review mechanism of BDF India financials
- Track competition data related to financials, Price Hikes, TTC, etc & present key info to Management to drive decision making. Conduct regular market visits to gain insights on Competition Pricing/ Promotions/ Activities. Work closely with MT Commercial Team to devise methodology for tracking market information on MT Price Offs

Technical - Exposure to Financial Accounting and Management Reporting. First hand experience in Controlling & business decision support. Also a good understanding of the Accounting regulations like IFRS, working knowledge of Tax direct and indirect.

Communication - Speaks clearly, fluently and effectively to both individual and groups. Writes in a clear and concise manner, using appropriate style and language, Knowledge of international language desirable but not must.
