In India, Omron currently operates through its four businesses, and this position is responsible to head the finance function as a business partner for the Industrial Automation business and support strategic decision making by working closely with the Managing Director to drive the growth agenda.

Job Description:

This position as Senior Manager - Accounting & Finance, reports to the General Manager and also parallely communicate with the Regional Finance Head based out of Singapore and the Managing Directors of other entity in Omron. The candidate would be based out the Mumbai office for the first year and then will move to the HQ based out of Delhi NCR.

The key responsibilities would include:

- Being responsible for leading the Finance function for the India region including strategically managing functions including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, taxation, AP and AR.

- You would be also playing an instrumental role in ensuring the formulation and implementation of strategies and campaigns to boost the revenues.

- Liaise and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and facilitate the implementation of global policies.

- Successfully lead the long term APAC project which aims to ensure the standardization of the finance operations throughout the region.

- Successfully partner with global stakeholders based out of Singapore and Japan on multitude of critical issues pertaining to Omron's operations in India.

The Successful Candidate :

To be in a position to do justice to this role you MUST meet the following requirements:

- You must be a qualified CA with approximately 8-12 years of post qualification experience.

- You must be an influential communicator and negotiator as this position demands interaction with multitude of local and global senior stakeholders.

- You must have a strong technical grasp on the finance function due to your long and successful track record in leading the finance & accounts function since past 8-10 years.

- You must be having some exposure in global business partnering.
