We have an opportunity for a Senior.Manager-ESM Tools for one of our MNC client in Mumbai.

Job Description :

Essential Experience: (Must have skills)

1. Proven experience of managing industry class Enterprise monitoring tools operations

2. Knowledge of any Enterprise class tool, preferably IBM Tivoli suite of monitoring products

3. Experience in managing service delivery of Enterprise tools in a multi-region, multi-client environment

4. Good knowledge in handling budgets, financials, P&L, costs & recoveries.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Accountable for the planning, management, and execution of enterprise tools delivery and operations to support professional services engagements globally

2. Ensure effective resource demand forecasting, Skill based Capacity Planning and fulfilment to ensure no revenue loss and to meet and exceed utilization targets

3. Finance management: Prepare and own global budget end to end, track expense against budget, recoveries against cost and present to leadership

4. Establish process, tools and governance to ensure Industrialized service delivery; establish knowledge management framework to capture learning and enhance delivery toolkits on a continuous basis;

5. Ensure adherence to Quality Management System, methodologies and processes; common project methodology

6. Innovation - 8% improvement year over year

7. Maintain adequate security compliance within the Enterprise Management tools infrastructure

8. Improve service quality through regular audits internally and/or externally

9. Regularly liaise with other geographic regions, technology development and other teams to ensure design and operational consistency.

10. Provide support for the delivery to production of infrastructure projects, operational projects and application development projects, ensuring suitable on-going support and maintenance.

11. Identify proactively the areas where more effective Enterprise tools management principles and processes can be adopted.

12. Provide technical input to the Enterprise Management engineering roadmaps, working in partnership with the Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture function

13. Strong operational process management expertise, experience of ITIL or other IT operations frameworks

Technical know-how of following products

Knowledge of Monitoring products (preferably IBM Tivoli)

1. Understanding of 3-Tier architecture

1. Detailed understating of ITM/ITCAM components and its communication flow

2. Understanding of failover and High-Availability concepts using hot standby

3. Understand the event integration interface between IBM and non-IBM tools

Infrastructure components

1. Familiarity with all major OS, primarily Unix and associated flavours

2. Inclination towards scripting, automation etc

3. Database understanding specially in DB2

4. Knowledge of network to understand things like TCP/IP, DNS, NIS, DHCP, NAT etc

Business Management

1. Disaster recovery, project management concepts, service delivery

Personal Attributes

1. Self-driven and self-motivated individual

2. Strong investigative skills

3. Strong communication (oral and written)
