Hiring for one of the Big 4 Consulting.

Senior Manager/Director - Telecom Practice India

- Responsible for Sales & Distribution, Strategy, Consulting and Operations especially in the direct channel and online.

Key accountability :

- Defining strategy

- Defining Market

- Go to Market strategy

- Manage and support execution of plans

- Understand the distribution network

- Know the channel partners

- Get channel partners

- Acquire customers

- Consulting at process and service level

- Selling online vs channels

- Complete look and feel of the channels

- Know the retail aspects (size of store, etc.)

Job Specific Skills/requirements :

- Sound knowledge of Sales Strategy (Channels Strategy definition, Logistics and Supply Chain strategy) and operations, focus on Consumer Segment

- Sound knowledge on Sales Action plan implementation and Project Management Organization practices in wide scale projects

- Good understanding of distribution strategy and implementation experience along with Sales.

- High levels of Customer Centricity

- Strong analytical and negotiation skills

- Ability to strategize and manage multiple conflicting priorities

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Good knowledge of English

- Strong Project Management

- Large scale roll outs

- 4G exposure

- Large scale transformation projects

- Large network experience

- Go to Market

- Well versed in strategy of selling applications, data packages, and content over Telco networks

- Ability to work closely with customers at senior level

- Supply chain added advantage

- Team Managment

Critical Competencies :

- The candidate is likely to be someone who is culturally sensitive, can demonstrate hands on experience in this area, and who is now looking to assume a role where they can develop the overall strategy and direction of the sales and marketing activity. Particularly important will be the ability to operate at both the macro and micro levels - i.e. to establish the Marketing and Sales strategy as well as to train staff.

- Working in developing countries

Qualification :

- Recognized Sales & Distribution, Strategy, Consulting and Operations professional in a Telecom operator

- Master Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing and Operations (Supply Chain) focus preferable

- Strategy Consulting experience preferred

- Global exposure

- 8 to 15 relevant experience
