Senior Manager/Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager - Internal Audit - Manufacturing (4-12 yrs)
Job purpose :
To support Manager in providing assurance and advisory engagements in assigned audits / projects. The job encompasses continuous engagement with process owners and suggesting improvements in overall risk management and internal control processes by :
a) developing thorough understanding of company's operations
b) assisting in developing risk based annual audit plan focussing on high risk areas
c) articulating risk and control statements for assigned processes
d) add value to assigned units through audit observation targeted at improving operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
Work responsibilities :
- Collate accurate and complete business information needed to prepare audit-specific engagement plan
- Articulate risk and controls in a particular process and document the audit work papers.
- Ensure timely audit completion with defined scope coverage as per annual IA plan
- Perform effective reviews to get in-depth audit coverage and release of draft reports to seniors on a timely basis.
- Prepare clear and concise draft audit report, risk and control matrices, process flow charts.
Travel requirement 50% - 60% (average) :
- Basic and professional qualification : Chartered Accountant,MBA,ICWA
- Additional certifications : Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) (preferable, but not mandatory)
Mandatory :
- Total experience (post CA qualification) : 3 yrs
- Internal Audit / Internal controls role - 2 yrs preferably in manufacturing set-up
Desirable :
- Exposure to working in ERP (SAP / Oracle): - 2 yrs
- Experience in performing fraud investigations
