Job Profile: Senior Manager Sales - North (Gift Cards) - B2B Sales
Location: Delhi/NCR
Responsibilities:
- This individual will be responsible for cultivating long-term strategic partnerships and sales. You will be expected to meet or exceed revenue goals by planning and executing successful sales strategies for our Gift Cards/Vouchers business in North India.
- You will also lead the regional sales team to grow the business by attracting new corporate clients and increasing sales to existing clients.
General Expectations from the Role:
- Develop and evolve a sales team to execute sales strategies and target accounts to meet sales goals
- Analyse sales operations and performance, identify and implement necessary changes with a high degree of autonomy
- Managing a team of sales, business development, and account managers
- Manage and coach individual contributors to achieve individual and team goals
- Develop appropriate metrics and report detailed business analysis to peers and senior management
Must Have Skills:
- The right person will have at least 5 - 10 years of successful sales, business development and sales management experience preferably in gifting, gift cards, pre-paid cards, or Telecom/Banking/E-commerce industry
- Proved track record of managing a sales team is a must
- Solid understanding of the B2B market in North India is a must
- Leading business school MBA preferred, but not essential
- Experience in a growth-oriented environment where sales goals were set and supervisors were held accountable for achieving goals
- Proven analytical skills and quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to manage the business “by the numbers”. Must be metrics-driven
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly, as well as the ability to work effectively
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
Key criteria’s for this role would be:
- B2B corporate sales exp is must (in Telecom/Banking/E-commerce industry)
- Knowledge of Delhi / NCR market is a must
- Sales team handling exp is a must (individual sales contributors won’t be suitable)
