Senior Manager/AVP -Equity Front Office application Technology
Job Description:
Gathering business requirements and bringing new technology innovation in the Front office
- Documenting new and existing processes, applications and workflows
- Producing functional specifications
- Managing and coordinating the application developments from internal and external vendors.
- Production Support for the equity dealers, Call center and clients for Internet based trading.
- Managing and supporting in testing of relevant application and processes.
- Managing and Supporting IT Operations for front office application and processes.
- Managing and Supporting IT and regulatory audits for Front office applications for compliance.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and help business and organizational development.
Knowledge, Skill, Experience Required:
- 4 years Business Analysis experience in Retail Broking setup
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience working with systems supporting the Front Office and with a proven track record of delivering technology change to Front Office users.
- Strong domain knowledge of retail equity markets, Trading platforms, Order management systems, risk applications as well as associated architecture
- Experience working on cross product teams and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience of full project lifecycle SDLC/Agile
Skills: Web Technologies (Dot net, HTML5, PHP etc) Linux, Web server (IIS, Apache), Database (MS SQL, oracle) NCFM certification
Nice to have:
- Omnesys, Fidessa, Odin experience
- A background in application development (preferably on Equity Front Office applications
- Exposure to working with outsourced resources
- DMA and FIX experience
- Project management certification
- QA expertise
