Senior Manager/Associate Director - Solution Architect - Applications/Infrastructure/Digital Domain

Level of Hire: Senior Manager /Associate Director

Location of hire: Chennai, Bangalore.

JOB PURPOSE: To work with BU BD teams to understand and specify, design and select information systems & technologies that deliver great value to the pursuit RFP's and their organizations.

Job Knowledge

- Advanced ability to research, analyze and recommend new technologies and software applications to meet the RFP needs.

- Advanced knowledge and experience in front end UI, backend DB, and both batch and real time integration development technologies and practices.

- Lead & exploit technology and use knowledge of IT solutions to drive and support business process design.

- Understand and support software architecture design and support pursuit teams in developing solutions.

- Strategic business acumen and understanding of RFP and ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy.

- Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products that are suitable for the scope & problem defined in the RFP.

- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts.

- Ability to develop solution architecture designs.

- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent.

- Working knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers, etc.

- Well-versed in pre-sales / RFP stage solutioning for large & complex problem statements

- Experience in envisioning & designing large, multi-tower solutions with little information

Accountability

- Research, recommend, and help arrive at optimal solution architecture for new software applications.

- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs for the various software applications.

- Work with any external software vendors for any designs on new features or feature enhancements.

- Act as a technical consultant with BU teams as required.

- Responsible for the creation of proposal-level software design and development of related documentation.

- Responsible for the creation and implementation of architecture principles, best practices, and procedures.

- Focus on solutions that are aligned for efficiency and re-usability across the enterprise.

- Effective collaboration skills, focusing on strong working relationships with BU's.

- Working ability to effectively recognize and manage interpersonal communication needs.

- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

Note: Experience in Applications/Infrastructure/Digital Domain is desired.
