Huge sourcing of business happens online/ on the digital platform.   Location - Mumbai  Description : One of the Consumer Solutions Company is seeking for a Senior Manager/AVP Logistics  Role : The role reports to the Service Head.   Key Responsibilities :   To develop the logistics strategy for the organization  To direct, coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of individuals engaged in logistic operations, To collaborate with staff, other departments, senior management, and decision makers to share information, problem solve, and to clarify   To address activities in logistic operation, warehousing, inventory, transportation and strategic planning   To develop and monitor the planning, organizing and execution of logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations   To direct and manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance   To establish key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against set goals   To direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff   Inventory Management & Warehousing/ Distribution  To resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports  To lead the development of pricing strategies and negotiations of price and service levels with existing as well as new logistic partners  The Candidate :   Overall 10 to 12 years of experience in logistic operations and Team handling (reverse and forward logistics) (Must required)   Should have knowledge of freight management and state wise road permits. Candidate from E-Commerce/ Courier industry would be preferable.
