This opportunity is with a leading renewable energy IPP co.With present 600 MW (solar/wind), targeting to cross 1000 MW by 2015 end.  They are hiring business development professional for their Solar Rooftop projects.  Applicant should be from renewable energy industry (Solar).  Responsibilities :  - Actively pursue large and small corporate customers to engage in consultative selling of solar solutions  - Analyze solar RFPs/tenders/bids and prepare detailed responses  - Manage accounts and ensure responsiveness and customer satisfaction  - Diligently engage with state nodal agencies and understand priorities and polices  - Work with internal stakeholders in a collaborative fashion  Profile :  Education : Bachelor's degree from premier state/national university, preferably in engineering/technical/business specialization.  Experience : 6-15 years experience in corporate sales for solar or similar equipment and service sales  Industry :   - Preferably from Solar Industry;   - Experience in durable goods industry that requires direct selling e.g. electronics, HVAC, elevators, could be considered  Functional Skills :   - Ability to quickly understand customer needs and able to transform them into tangible solutions;   - Strong analytical and financial modeling capability;   - Ability to understand and track policy and regulatory environment and it's implications to the business;   - Structured project milestone tracking and management;   - Prepare regular MIS and escalate issues in a timely manner  Personality Traits :   - Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills;   - Able to work standalone with minimal supervision;   - Structured thinking and workload management;   - Collaborative working style
