Senior Learning & Development Consultant - Financial Firm (7-15 yrs)

Role :

- Consult with all levels of HR and management to identify business requirements and translate these into learning & development solutions as appropriate. When learning & development solutions are not warranted, provide consulting and act as a key advisor to the business/HR partner.

- Validate and prioritize emerging needs at a global level on an ongoing basis. Conduct global needs analysis annually.

- Partnering with the Design and Tools Team, design the objectives and business criteria for solutions, evaluate developed solutions

- Facilitate/deliver core and management and leadership solutions locally or via webinar per plan.

- Ensure learning and organization development initiatives are marketed effectively to target populations.

- Analyze and evaluate learning & development interventions to ensure alignment with business requirements, transfer of learning into the business and return on investment and to identify/ recommend areas for improvement.

- Project manage major, complex and high-profile core curriculum, management and leadership development, and/or region-specific HR initiatives. Manage project budgets, where appropriate. Develop and manage Vendor relationships to ensure they meet cost, quality and time service levels.

Experience Required :

- Learning and Development Consulting with internal clients to identify needs, translate needs into solutions and implement the solutions into the business, in a fast-paced corporate environment

- Identifying, developing and implementing skills development for partners at multiple levels within a corporate environment.

- Strong instructional design, development and delivery experience. While this person will not develop course materials, an ID background is required to effectively partner with the Design and Tools team and to evaluate vendor solutions.

- Vendor sourcing and vendor management experience, particularly with vended facilitation

- Experience working in a global environment (preferred) or the willingness to work in a multi-cultural, global environment.
