Senior HRBP/Director HRBP - XLRI/TISS (8-12 yrs)

You will be responsible for devising and executing against a people strategy to achieve and exceed the global HR team objectives, regional objectives and/or business unit objectives for the business unit(s) assigned.

- The role requires working alongside other HR team members in recruitment and HR operations as well as with senior HR leadership in Bangalore, India in order to operationalize and execute the HR strategy for the assigned business units.

Description:

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Devising and activating the regional people strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders (business unit leadership, regional leadership team and global HR leadership team).

- Engagement with managers and staff to assist in unlocking staff potential through development conversations

- Work with talent acquisition to align hiring strategy to BU needs, approve offers and enhance our brand in the market

- HR/People data integrity and analytics derived from the HRMS

- Staff exit interviews and analysis

- Quarterly presentations on results, plans and actions

- Employee relations and responsiveness to escalated staff enquiries

- Liaise with legal staff on employee, contractual or immigration issues

- Talent identification and succession planning

- Service metrics from a business unit level

- Learning and development interventions and region/BU training plan development

Key Success Criteria:

- Retention/Attrition metrics (reduction in voluntary/controllable churn)

- Pulse/happiness/engagement (increase in positivity indicators which correlate to engagement and retention) measured through conversations and surveys

- Development gaps minimised/reduced

- Regional revenue or productivity gains

- Recognition of team

What do we require from you?

Essential Experience:

- Strong past experience managing an HR function in a matrix environment

- Line management experience preferred

Qualifications:

- Masters in HR from a premier school (XLRI, TISS)
