SR MANAGER HRD
The Sr manager HRD will be based in Navi Mumbai HO and he must be a seasoned HR professional preferably, under 35 - 38 years of age and preferably worked with the large format / small format modern retail organizations. He/she must possess a post graduate degree in HR/ MSW/ MLW/IR/ PG diploma in HRD. He must also possess at least 4-6 years of strong and relevant experience in managing teams across multiple geographies.
The experience of working in growing retail chain would be an added advantage. He should have a 360 degree understanding of, recruitment, compensation, employee engagement, performance management, drafting HR manuals/policies etc.
The person will be based in Mumbai.

Preferred industry - candidates from retail industry/ food retail/ travel retail only shall be considered. Must be open to the idea of domestic and international travel
Education & experience- graduate and PG in HRD/ MSW/ MLW/ HRM or any other equivalent degree or diploma. Person should have min 7-9 years of strong HRD exposure

Job responsibilities:
1.To provide leadership by formulating HR strategies and operational plans aligned to business requirements for acquiring, retaining, motivating, developing and managing the employee relationships to achieve stated business objectives and employee satisfaction.
2. HR sourcing with an emphasis on improving the quality of intake and timeliness. (Recruitment strategy, process, using selection tools etc.).Should have a high level of selection skills, the ability to attract talents, employer branding etc.
3. Induction - through a systematic process of employee induction program for all levels including one to one orientation program for retail staff.
4. Competency building - through training need/gap identification, designing training programs, conducting soft skill training, developing internal trainers.
5. Developing alternate learning initiatives and managing change transformations.
6. Performance Management - Setting of KRAs for all functions and ensuring timely performance reviews and performance feedback on a half yearly basis.
7. Employee Retention & engagement programs
8. HR transactions (overseeing effectiveness of Pay Roll, Expense management, PF, ESIC, Medical, Bonus, Gratuity matters) & MIS (e.g employee database management, exit analysis etc.)
9. Managing issues relating to reward and compensation management (Developing potential candidates, monitoring their growth as per the Career Plan, organizing assessment centers etc).
10. Supporting line functions on various People issues with proper advice and guidance.(Emphasize on culture building, value demonstration, ethical practices, people orientation, coaching, and ownership)
11. Performance management activities as per the business need.
12. Culture building for the organization in line with global strategic growth.
13. Ensure effective annual budgeting and HR department manpower budgeting
