Position Summary :

- This position has responsibility for ensuring exceptional HR Business Partner support to the Professional Business and taking the lead in ensuring business groups are effectively leading their teams with effective engagement, development, and succession planning.

Expert advice and support to be provided on organisation change management, workforce design and talent management.

- The HRBP is to strategically lead a broad range of human resources services and provide Human Resources partnership and advice for their business groups, on areas such as, change management, capability development, diversity and Business Partnering.

Major Action :

- Business Leadership & Performance Alignment:

- Form part of and be active on the Business Leadership Team to ensure Human Resources are supporting and advising the business towards achieving business goals

Expected End Result :

- Ensure clear purpose, direction and goal alignment toward the successful achievement of business objectives

- Effective communication

- Engagement of employees

- Guidance and management of the performance management process and performance improvement plans within client groups

- Work with Senior Leaders to calibrate performance objectives and associated measures across functions/divisions

- Ensure PM processes are completed in accordance with the timetable communicated

- Provide professional assistance to team leaders to communicate performance feedback with team members when required

- Assist with the implementation of improvement plans (PIP) for low performance and the subsequent monitoring of plan progress

- Partner with the business and be constructive in the development, implementation and execution of business strategies

Major Action :

HR Policy and \ Administration :

Provide expert knowledge to advise and lead managers on matters concerning, employment practices, working conditions and employment legislation. In addition contribute to the broader development and implementation of best practice HR policies and procedures.

- Advice on matters related to workers compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health

- HR Policy formation and administration

Talent Management :

Work with Managers and the HRD to provide strategy and advice on the management of talent to ensure high potential is identified and developed.

- Ensure effective development processes are in place for talent development

- Management of succession planning and workforce planning with the business

- Team leader development (work with HRD and global Talent initiatives)

Major Action:

Effective Leadership & Engagement with Business Units

Provide support and advice to Senior Leaders to ensure they have effective, engaged and enabled employees in their teams. Provide strategic direction and ensure appropriate actions are taken.

Expected End Result :

- Effective communication, launch and completion rates of enterprise engagement survey.

- Communication of survey results to Senior Leaders

- Work with Country/Business Leaders to identify areas for improvement and agree on priorities and the execution of these solutions

- Monitor completion and quality of business/country plans

- Assist in the development of action plans to address culture and engagement within Business Units

- Ensure leadership has necessary development to lead effectively

Major Action :

Operational HR Management :

Assist Business Leaders in the HR employee life cycle by supporting the needs of the employee movement within the business.

Expected End Result :

- Recruitment - work with the business, external providers and internal resources to attract and retain high calibre talent in the India business.

- Provide remuneration advice that is market based

- Absenteeism and turnover management

- Educate Team Leaders on the process and their role within the onboarding cycle

- Ensure site inductions are completed as required

- Ensure that remuneration advice is appropriately benched to market

- Application of policies and processes - ensure that these are appropriately communicated and implemented.

- Accurate and timely execution of employee and position related documentation including letters of offer, Workday transactions, policy and procedure, exit interviews for employees exiting the organisation.

- Ensure Statutory Compliance related to Records Maintenance, Payroll Delivery, Attendance Management, laisoning with Government authorities regarding Provident Fund, Gratuity etc.

Effective Talent Management & Learning and Development:

Lead and advise Business Leaders to identify the bench strength and talent gaps and recommended strategies to fill critical positions where no successor(s) are identified. Work with Hiring Managers and Talent Management on engagement and development strategies to build an effective, successful business group.

Learning and Development plans for business units to achieve capability requirements

- Coaching of nominated individuals including, monitoring completion and quality of individual development plans and ensuring focus on agreed actions for both the individual and the team leader.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Essential Degree in Business, HR or related field

- Strong time management skills

- Results orientated

- Strategic approach to Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Change/Cultural Management

- Exposure to HR policies and procedures

- Proven Management experience, including performance management

- Strong skills in dispute resolution and negotiation

- Demonstrably high communication skills, both written and verbal

- Highly motivated and engaged
