Overall job purpose:

Leading Financial Shared Service IN Logistics are currently looking at our Finance function to enhance the capabilities to keep pace with the rapid growth in business and to put in place a Finance infrastructure for efficiency, transparency and performance that we can be proud of. Our Finance transformation process is aligned with the company's strategy and we are committed to make the function as more flexible and cost efficient finance organization. Senior Consultant is very critical to the project to increase effectiveness, and to define and execute on related efforts. This is a very hands-on role to execute initiatives in order to improve underlying operations, processes, and systems. This position reports to the Senior Manager - Global Finance Transformation and will work very closely with him to ensure processes and transformation approaches are consistent.

Scope of the job:

Senior Consultant's scope of activities is the following:

- Part of the global program team project managing Oracle implementation for one or more regions and related change management activities

- Subject Matter Expertise (SME) Oracle Financials particularly AP,CM and GL

- Work closely with the global and regional program lead in preparing detailed implementation plans

- Responsible for end to end execution for assigned country implementations, tracking progress, communicating with all stakeholders involved and managing / mitigating delays and risks

- Position reports to Senior Manager - Finance Transformation and could be based in Chennai

- Promote Quality best practices by collaborating other quality and transformation team leaders across the business

- Finance Processes Migrations Management

- Co-ordinate with development team to timely delivery of the RICEW

Skill set requirement:

- CA/ICWAI with at least 5-10 years of work experience

- Strong Knowledge on Oracle Apps Financial Module

- Must have done 3-5 Oracle implementations in AP,AR,CM,GL,FA and AGIS modules

- Good IT Systems and process understanding

- Good accounting knowledge

- Experience on Oracle and SWIFT connectivity will be an added advantage.

- Should be strong at Coordination, Persuasion and Result Orientation

- Must be able to work with teams and individuals to achieve the KRAs for the organization success

- Should be able to function independently with less amount of guidance

- Should be able to think - out of the box- and come up with innovative ideas for the organizational benefit

- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and understanding their requirements for effective execution

- Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, proactive and a team player.

- Ability to quickly understand the financial process at a Macro Level in order to be an advisory

- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator. Desire to provide top quality service to internal stakeholders from different areas of the firm /geographies

- Willingness and ability to take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolution.

- Eye for detail and exception track record in managing and resolving conflict situations

- Ability to negotiate and influence senior management across the businesses

- Ability to build strong partnerships across the business with excellent stakeholder management

Success measurement:

- Feedback from CFOs for the roles performed while implementing Oracle

- Taking personal ownership to ensure successful completion of tasks to the agreed timelines
