Company: Private Bank  Role: Senior Fixed Income Dealer  Designation: Chief Manager   Section : Liquidity Risk Management  Location : Mumbai  Group Profile: Asset and Liability Management Group (ALMG)  Asset Liability Management Group (ALMG) functions under the central oversight of Asset Liability Management Group (ALCO) for management of liquidity and interest rate risk of the Bank. ALMG is responsible for day-to-day management of liquidity and interest rate risk of the Bank covering inter alia:  - Working in close co-ordination with the various groups in the Bank for day-to-day management of liquidity to ensure that adequate liquidity is maintained at all times  - Proactive management of short-term fund mismatches to take advantage of the arbitrage opportunities that may become available in the market from time to time  - Planning the borrowing programme of the Bank over the medium term  - Ensuring compliance with the regulatory and internal limits pertaining to asset-liability management for the domestic operations of the Bank  - Managing the interest rate risk of the Bank  - Formulating transfer pricing framework of the Bank  Key Deliverables:   - Handling ALCO functioning and compliance with Calendar of reviews of ALCO, timely reporting of liquidity and interest rate risk profile to ALCO  - Provide strategic guidance to branches with respect to balance sheet growth and calibration  - Liaise and communicate with country heads in multiple geographies; keep ALCO updated on   - Managing the day-to-day funding requirement through Money Market Instruments like CBLO & REPO with optimal mix.  - Trading in Govt. Securities to generate trading profit and providing inputs and views to build medium-long term investment portfolio (AFS) to generate capital gains.   - Generating arbitrage opportunities by investing in Commercial Papers, Certificate of Deposits, BRDS, Liquid Schemes of Mutual Funds etc.   - Assisting the Head of Treasury in borrowing through Rupee Bonds, Commercial Papers & Certificate of Deposits for INR funds requirement.  - Managing relationships with Banks, FIs, Mutual funds and other market participants & internal customers  - Managing a team of 8-10 dealers distributed across geographies   Key Skills:  - Knowledge of Treasury processes, including Fund Transfer Pricing, liquidity risk management/monitoring or Balance Sheet Management   - Familiarity with emerging regulatory landscape related to LCR/NSFR in international geographies  - Familiarity with bank products; Exposure to balance sheet and understanding of financial markets   - Ability to plan and execute complex activities in the areas listed above  - Dealing Discipline with customers / interbank  - Ability to engage with senior management in a clear and concise manner  - Passion for financial markets and fast-paced environments  - Strong team skills, ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and bring them to completion  - Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint etc.   Competencies  - Analytical thinking - Ability to manage information accurately and in a systematic manner  - Drive for results - Finding solutions to problems while adhering to compliance standards  - Interpersonal effectiveness and ability to influence - Ability to speak with conviction using data and logic  Qualifications and working experience  MBA (Finance) + Engineering background/ CA ; At least 8-9 years in ALM function as a fixed-income dealer with a thorough understanding of markets, financial instruments and emerging regulatory guidelines related to dealing, LCR and NSFR in international geographies
