Job Description - This role offers complete responsibility of costing, accounts and inventory management for the plant in Pune . Also, the incumbent will be occupying the rank 2 position; he/she will be the acting plant controller in case of the former's absence. This role will give exposure to revenue transactions, both low and high in value.

Description :
Reporting to the plant controller, your responsibilities will include :
- Ensuring the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Updating standard costs in BOM, review and audit BOMs
- Reviewing standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
- Validating the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end closing
- Accumulating and applying overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles
- Calculating annual standard labour and overhead rates for each manufacturing process
- Preparing cost estimates for new products and product changes
- Performing a wide variety of financial reporting and analysis across all areas of assigned responsibilities
- Reviewing the month end closing process of AP, AR & GL
- Reviewing the B/S Schedule & clearing off exceptions
- Monitoring inventory transactions in the general ledger
- Reconciling inventory and Inventory variance analysis
Profile :
As an ideal candidate, you are a qualified Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant with at least 3 years of post qualification work experience in a manufacturing plant. You have leadership qualities to be the second in command in the absence of the plant controller.
