Job Description - Responsible for supporting reconciliation work required for ensuring VAT Compliance. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you are responsible for :

- Monthly book closing and accounts reconciliation for European companies in accordance with US GAAP

- Managing accounts/books maintained locally to ensure that no major deviation from US GAAP books occurs

- Preparing financial statements, PBC lists, Tax returns and VAT returns

- Ensuring adherence to the company accounting policies and SOX compliance

- Preparing monthly payroll data input file

- Reviewing monthly payroll computation details / pay slips produced by the outsourced vendors for accuracy

- Supporting Consolidation team, FP&A and Tax department queries

The Successful Candidate :

- As a successful applicant you are a Chartered Accountant with 5 years of post qualification experience.

- You have worked with multinational companies and are comfortable with matrix reporting and a performance-driven work culture.

- Your experience has primarily been in manufacturing/ product related firms.

- You are thoroughly comfortable and highly skilled with financial accounting concepts, SOX procedures and policies and indirect taxation concepts. You are self driven and possess excellent communications skills.
