Senior Executive/AM - EXIM - Import/Export/Procurement - FMCG (5-10 yrs)
We are hiring for top MNC.
Responsible to establish & ensure internal procedures and policies in Purchasing apart from managing customs formalities for importing/exporting materials /SFG in in accordance with government regulations
- Liaise with the Clearing and forwarding Agencies to ensure smooth customs clearance, punctual delivery, with minimum administrative cost and without incurring demurrage.
- Communicate with all key stake holders (Mill Planner, Warehouse, Production, and Finance Teams) to facilitate timely action in case of issues.
- Provide insight and subject matter expertise in Import and Export to internal departments
- Ensure there is no stoppage of production on account of Raw Material or engineering materials
- Minimize detention charges
- Support internal teams in resolving vendor issues / clearance issues/ documentations as necessary
- Remain abreast of the latest innovations in Import-Export Area, Shipping lines and continually feed information to internal stakeholders and management
- Identify and share technical best practices
- EXIM certification with proven work experience in Import-Export role
- 5+ years cross-functional or progressive experience in EXIM Landscape, procurement and supplier management related to EXIM
