Senior Equity Research Analyst - Credit Rating Firm

Job title: Equity Research (Senior Research Analyst)

Location: Chennai

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Job Duties:

- Build end to end financial models from scratch for companies in coverage. It also includes understanding sector drivers and forecast company's financial statements and conducting valuation

- Update and restructure models for earnings and events

- Provide data and analysis based on various client request

- Search and aggregation on sector and companies

- Build and update sector databases in Excel

- Contribute to various publications including initiation and earning notes

- Conduct primary surveys by speaking to various industry players

- Work onsite along with the client analyst

Qualification: CA/MBA

Skills required:

- Prior experience in Equity research - minimum 2-5 years

- Should be excellent in Financial Modeling

- Sound knowledge of Excel is must

- Ability to think and work independently

- Client management and excellent communication

- Willingness to work long hours and provide crunch time support
