Description - This is a top management role that will be responsible for heading up the Wealth Management technology team for a large Global Bank with proven strengths across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, and Retail Banking.

Job Description

Based out of Pune, and Reporting in to the Global MD and CIO, the role holder will have the following broad responsibilities:-

- Overall leadership and Change Management for the Wealth Processing Transaction cycle

- Be Accountable for the application development deliveries pan India for Wealth Technology

- Drive people strategy towards the right permanent/vendor and location strategy mix

- Provide leadership for a large offshore India team and also engage in senior architecture, and design discussions

- Deliver budgeting, resourcing and manage the risk and governance responsibility for the offshore India team

- Formulate and execute business strategy for business unit, along with technical ownership

Profile

The successful candidate will, among others, demonstrate the following competencies:-

- 15+ Years of relevant technology experience with solid domain awareness of wealth management, or Equities, and Funds asset classes (Equities Middle Office would be a big plus)

- Deep skills and experience in systems strategy, development, systems engineering and delivery / support, along with a strong understanding of software languages, platforms and methodologies such as SDLC and Agile

- Advanced level of proficiency in Program and Project Management, and active knowledge of relevant tools and methodologies like PMP, PRINCE 2; MSP

- Excellent business management, organizational and operational design skills, along with proficiency in planning, change management and problem solving

- Demonstrated ability, and track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets, and successful IT change agendas

- Strong executive presence and superlative communication, and interpersonal skills
