Description - This is a senior role to head up the product and application development team. The team will be spread out across India and the US and builds software solutions for both enterprise and customer users.

Job Description

Reporting in to the Global Head of Product Development, the Senior Director - IT (Product Development) will have the following broad responsibilities:

- Managing multiple development teams, work streams, projects, and stakeholders

- Developing processes and policies to help solidify a fast-moving, predictable delivery schedule in an agile scrum process

- Meeting with product owners, team leads, and different other stakeholders to refine and prioritize work backlog

- Participating and leading architecture, modeling, and design meeting with development team leads

- Coordinating deployment schedules with technology team partners to ensure smooth delivery

- Ensure the application development team(s) comply with development, testing and defect management processes to ensure a highly predictable, high quality deliverable to maximize value and minimize disruption

- Effectively manage the application development team(s) to meet expectations for budget and performance management

- Application Transition / Deployment

- Ability to plan and manage deployment of in-house solutions as well as the transition and integration of cloud and / or hybrid solutions as part of the Application Strategy / Portfolio

- Product Support for enhancement and / or defect resolution

- Ensure compliance with quality and change management processes

Profile

As the successful candidate, you will:-

- Have 15+ Years of progressive Information Systems experience with 10+ Years of leadership experience across global firms with matrixed/global/cross-organizational teams

- Be well versed with programming languages like .Net, Java, JavaScript, Databases like MSSQL Server, DB2, Aurora, MongoDB, Web Services like SOAP, REST, and commercial applications like Workday and Salesforce

- Demonstrate a strategic mindset with the ability to tactically execute long term organizational objectives

- Be qualified in computer sciences, IT, or other technology related disciplines from a top tier school

- Have the ability to attract, recruit, train, and retain top industry talent

- Have excellent people management, communication skills, and executive presence
