Job Responsibilities:
- Building and managing an effective team from offshore centre. Includes hiring, training, coaching and measuring the effectiveness of the team members
- Innovate and drive development of technical knowledge around the Salesforce.com technologies.
- Facilitate and encourage continuous education efforts for your team on key technologies
- Estimate development effort, perform resource allocation, and plan implementations and system rollouts
- Coordinate with US counterparts in managing the team activities and own the deliverables for his/her team
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Over 12+ years of strong IT experience
- At least 3 years of Engineering team management experience including HR responsibilities for the team including hiring, appraisals and other team building responsibilities
- Prior Product development Experience is a MUST
- Enterprise Application development on Force.com would certainly tilt the decision in your favour
- Experience in Enterprise application design, architecture and development of Cloud applications is required
- Highly knowledgeable and skilled in software development practices and techniques including but not limited to:
- Source code management - branching, tagging and merging
- Automated unit and integration testing
- Expert skills in several of the following:
- Object-oriented design and development
- Salesforce Technology
- Java technologies
- Ability to function in a global team
- Strong Communications Skills
