Job Location : Mumbai  Role Title : Senior Deal Architect  Reports to : Partnership Director, Vendor Management Lead, Vendor Management Director  Qualifications : BE / B Tech  Experience : 15+ years  Purpose Of Role  The role holder manages the ongoing relationship with ORGANIZATION Partners and/or Vendors to ensure delivery of key objectives and optimal effectiveness, working with other stakeholder functions as appropriate. Scorecard objectives will include substantial cost savings and/or significant revenue generation. He/she manages key strategic partner accounts or key supplier accounts to support the achievement of ORGANIZATION revenue/cost, innovation, customer satisfaction and quality objectives/targets, in line with the business strategy.  Partnership Management roles will either manage a team of either Partner Managers ensuring delivery of cost savings and/or revenue targets, or work with a Partnership Director developing a ORGANIZATION Strategic partnership. He/she will develop Partnership management plan for part or all of key partner accounts.  Vendor Management roles are responsible for one or more specific functions within Vendor Management that will enable Vendor Management operations; deliver Vendor Management strategy and objectives; or report on and audit the Vendor Management business environment. The Vendor Management role holder may be responsible and accountable for the financial performance, service delivery and pan-ORGANIZATION management relationship for one, or more contracts, of ORGANIZATION's medium or large and strategically important third-party suppliers or may lead a number of specific functions /projects that deliver improved and effective working practises & processes that ORGANIZATION uses to manage and work with its strategic suppliers.  Key Responsibilities   - To lead a team of Partner Managers or Vendor Practitioners, ensuring the development and growth of key partnerships/suppliers, or ownership of key elements of the relationship.  - To propose and drive new solutions to business issues and ensure key partner/vendor issues are resolved.  - To own responsibility for managing discrete elements of a partnership, this includes delivery of revenue forecasts.  - To develop cost reduction initiatives and/or drive new business opportunities.  Qualifications : Engineering (B.E. / B. Tech) with professional qualifications and certifications  Experience  - At least 12 years of hands-on work experience in the IT and Banking industry in India, within the presales environment, in particular solutions sales. Specialist knowledge and experience on Security related technologies - Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention, Proxies, Event monitoring and Correlation, Data Leakage Prevention, End Point Protection, Managed Security Services, etc.  - Knowledge of Security standards and regulations for various industries (SOX/HIPPA/PCI)  - Should have field experience and a track record of identifying and developing sales opportunities  - Evidence of driving up revenue growth, enhancing profitability and customer satisfaction  - Relevant experience of about 4-5 years in the pre-sales function supporting Security bids  - A good knowledge of the Security transformation and outsourcing processes especially in the Indian context. Good knowledge of the Security OEM's (Checkpoint, Juniper, Fortinet, Symantec, F5, Palo Alto, Cisco, MacAfee, AlgoSec, etc.)  - Business experience and maturity in managing complex bids  - Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding goals  Communication Skills  - Good sales, interpersonal and analytical skills.   - Excellent written communication skills - reports, client documents.  - Able to develop relationships at senior executive (CXO) levels in client organizations.  - Ability to interact with at levels in Client, Supplier/Distributor and ORGANIZATION internal environment  - Ability to present technical information to a varied audience.   Others  - Ability to provide specialized technical support in one or more areas, and to proactively share knowledge and learning with the virtual team.   - Able to innovate and be flexible and creative in developing a business solution  - Strongly motivated to succeed and able to work both independently and across the matrix.  - Willingness to travel and work extended hours as necessary
