Senior Data Scientist - FMCG

On on Embark for a Senior Data Scientist who would be able guide and mentor 2-5 Data Scientists.

Below are the required skiils

- R or SAS

- Python

- SQL / Teradata / Hive / Spark

- Regression / Multinomial regression / Logistic Regression

- Multinomial logit

- Integrated forecasting using GLM / Mix Models

- Optimization using Simulated Annealing / Genetic Algorithms

- Different types of simulations and simulations software

- Cluster Analysis

Educational Qualification :

B Tech in any branch or MSc in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Operations Research or any other quantitative analysis

MBA preferred

Responsibilities include :

- Understanding the business problem and translating into an analytical problem;

- Coming up with an analytical solution and documenting

- Working with the Analytics Manager to create a project plan

- Working with Data Scientists to implement analytical solution, supporting them as required

- Doing research on advanced and better ways of solving the problems than how they are normally done and inculcating new learning to the team.

- Extracting analytical insights and translating them to business insights and interacting with business stakeholder
