About our Client: Our client is a leading firm with major presence in US market and strong delivery base in India. They are looking for a seasoned analytics professional with strong experience in machine learning and product based organizations to develop and lead their well established Research and Development capability based out of Bangalore.

Job Description: Heading the Research and Development capability, you would be responsible for:

- Developing Algorithms and Models

- Developing Solutions and Executing Analytical projects using Machine Learning/Text Mining algorithm and methodologies.

- Ensuring Team Building and Capability Development for Big Data Analytics

- Becoming Subject Matter Experts in machine learning & algorithm designing.

- Defining direction, identifying and procuring skills required to deliver the Engagement satisfactorily.

- Developing thought leadership in solution design and delivery.

- Delivering projects within budget and time by involving in the projects as a technology specialist

- Will support business to drive stronger data driven decision making

- Would be responsible to build complex algorithms that drive better online personalization and search

- You will innovate, design, analyze, evaluate, architect, implement and tune complex algorithms and Machine Learning models operating on large sets of data in collaboration with various stakeholders

The Successful Candidate: As a successful candidate you should have:

- Hands on experience in Analytics- deriving key business impact from data and in creating algorithms, implementing a solution based on analysis.

- Prior practical experience in techniques like SVM, Predictive modeling, Self learning systems

- Expertise in working with data platforms including large scale data:

- SQL, Hadoop, PL/SQL, Pig, Hive

- Technical expertise in working with a language of your choice : Perl, Python, Java, Ruby.

- Good business and communication skills with an ability to validate and scientifically prove hypotheses for a given business problem

- Prior experience in a product organization building data products is a plus

- A domain background in eCommerce will be a plus
