Report : Senior Manager - Data Sciences

Job Responsibility :

- Drive collection of new data & refinement of existing data sources

- Communicate of state of business, experiment results, etc. to product teams

- Build models of user behaviors for analysis & to power production systems

- Understanding ecosystems, user behaviors & long-term trends

- Analyze terabytes of data in order to better understand users- behavior & guide product development

- Build & analyze key data sets & dashboards to empower operational & exploratory analysis

- Import & copy data results into Microsoft Excel to present reports in an acceptable format

- Create tools & analyze data that help with team efficiencies, scalability, & profitability

- Inform, influence & support product team through presentation of work & propose what to build in the next Product Roadmap

Educational Qualification & Skills :

- BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or other technical field from IIT/ BITS only

- Experienced in developing dashboards

- Experienced in quantitative analysis, manipulating structured & unstructured data sources for analysis

- Fluency in SQL or other programming languages

- Passion for numbers & statistics

- Ability to initiate & drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

- Ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear & effective manner

- Ability to work with cross-departmental teams to define metrics, guidelines & strategies for effective use of algorithms & data

- Intellectual curiosity, logical thinking & ability to solve complex problems that may not always be well defined

- Interest in product management & development with a data-centric approach

- Excellent communications skills including ability to communicate clearly, professionally, both verbally & written at a level suitable for a variety of audiences

- Excellent listening skills, inquisitive, positive, team-oriented, enthusiastic approach
