Looking for Senior Counsel Information Technology in Bangalore

Responsibilities:

- Build and implement IP business cases for exploiting product collection.

- Present high level of entrepreneurship and open yourself up to new opportunities and challenges.

- Responsible for managing necessary software licenses and ensuring compliance with the terms of those licenses.

- Preparation and prosecution of patents

- Drafting licenses, especially software licenses, for the R&D team

- Providing counsel and advice to the company globally on regulations, laws and other issues in India effecting Intellectual Property.

- Monitoring third party Intellectual Property so as to provide competitive intelligence reports

Requirement:

- Law degree from a reputed law school with strong academic records.

- 10+ years as a patent attorney with significant focus on protecting computer implemented processes and big data

- Excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills

- A pro-active, entrepreneurial, understanding of the commercial value of Intellectual Property

- Strong logical and organizational skills

- Fluency in English
