Senior Consultant - SAP FI - General Ledger/Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable

The organization is an international provider of IT services and business process management. They work with Utilities in North America (NA) to transform their service delivery, focusing on their capability, ambition and brand. They are an established business and are always hungry for new business and fresh challenges.

Position Overview: Configure and build SAP FI module - GL, AP and AR sub modules. Provide functional design and support for North America based utility clients of the organization. Collaborate with the client and NA team members to gather requirements, develop and deploy solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Should possess SAP FI (GL & AP Specifically) knowledge for preparation of business blueprints, business process plan (BPP), functional documents, and test cases etc.

- Should have knowledge on the Chart of accounts, field status variants, validation & substitution, BTE's & BADI's.

- Should have experience in maintaining Field status variants, drilldown reports.

- Experience in configuring Financial statement versions, document splitting, AP Master data, interest, payments is required.

- Strong knowledge in New GL, GL Master data, document splitting is desired.

- Experience in Open item processing, interest calculation, down payments, vendor invoice.

- Strong knowledge of AP Master data, payments & invoices is mandatory.

- Knowledge in GR/IR clearing process, correspondence (types, programs & forms).

- Develop templates and methods to improve the efficiency of application support.

- Gather and prioritizes relevant SAP Business requirements and designing the appropriate solution.

- Understands configuration dependencies and inter-relationships between other modules of SAP such as Materials Management (MM), FI-GL, AA, AR and design plus troubleshoot in the area with this knowledge.

- Should have experience and knowledge in S4 HANA FINANCE with new data structure

- Defines test scenarios to cover full scope of the business as well as creating master data and carry out the unit, cycle and integration tests.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor/Master's Degree in Commerce, Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CWA), Master's in Business Administration or degree in Finance or equivalent degrees.

- At least 8+ years of experience in SAP application

- Should have exposure to S4 HANA Finance and its data structure

- Should have minimum of two full life-cycle implementation experience

- Should have mature inter-personnel and communication skills, both written and oral

Additional Requirements:

- Fluency in written and spoken English, proficiency with MS Word and Excel & Power Point, incident management tools.

- Conceptual understanding of relational databases and middleware technology.

- Basic understanding of SaaS, cloud computing.

- Can work under minimum supervision, good time management and work planning
