Data Scientist (Senior Consultant/Manager) - Big 4 (Onsite deputation - Japan)  Responsibilities:  - Develop analytical models to answer high-level business questions, patterns and develop recommendations.  - Use advanced analytics including statistical and predictive analytics, machine learning and text mining techniques.  - Manage data-driven research, identify statistical co-relationships, perform data munging, feature re-engineering and dimensionality reduction.  - Evaluate the quality and relevancy of analytic inputs and re calibrate models.  - Gather business understanding and serve liaison between the business and the software developers.  - Provide clear communications of finding and recommendations.  - Participating in developing final deliverable, reports and visualizations.  - Operate effectively with minimal oversight and with a team environment.  Experience:  Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Psychology, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc. with a focus on technical, quantitative, and research and analysis.  Requires strong knowledge of research design, statistics and data modeling techniques.  Minimum 3+ years of experience in Data Mining, data analytics, and predictive modeling.  Experience of data management platforms such as SQL or hadoop.  Experience with analytics tools such as SAS, SPSS, R or Python.  Experience using techniques such as: statistical analysis, machine learning (decision trees, support vector machines, clustering etc.), econometrics, and text analytics.  Good to have: Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g Tableau, Qlikview etc)  Good to have: Exposure to distributed computing like Hadoop, In memory computing etc.  Good to have: Experience in OEM or Supply Chain or Automobile Industry  The candidate will be initially deputed to the client location in Japan for a period of 6 months to 1 year.
