This opportunity is with our client which is an independent, global risk consultancy specializing in helping organisations manage political, integrity and security risks in complex and hostile environments.  They specialize in Political risk, Integrity risk & Security risk, Crisis Management, Security Consulting, Corporate Investigations, Political Risk Analysis, Information Security, Due Diligence, Fraud Investigations.   Following are the details of the position:   Job Title : Senior Consultant, Business Intelligence & Compliance (India & South Asia)  Location : Delhi  Job Purpose: Looking to hiring a credible & motivated Senior Consultant to play a critical role in growing & executing work in key areas like Due Diligence, Business intelligence, Problem Solving, Stakeholder Mapping, Anti Corruption consulting, Risk Assessment.  Tasks & Responsibilities:   Case Management:  - Manage large, complex, multi juriscdictional & unusual cases, including where other departments, offices or practice areas are involved.  - Respond to the clients requests, write & coordinate proposals & manage cases in all countries & areas across the region, not just in certain jurisdictions.  - Provide day-to-day operational support to the Associate Director/Director to ensure the effective management and prioritization of all incoming client requests and outgoing deliverables.   - Demonstrate knowledge of client needs relating to the practice and a strategic approach to addressing these needs.   - Exhibit confidence, maturity and experience in speaking effectively to clients, to listen and address their issues and to creatively address their problems.   Business Development:  - Maintain and develop client contacts arising out of assignments or other opportunities; assist and where appropriate lead in developing client relationships; act in conjunction with account executives.   - Market and sell Business Intelligence and Compliance services to further new lead generation; engage in profile raising activities to increase Control Risks brand awareness; contribute and pro-actively seek to develop new service areas.   - Self-sufficiency - the ability to bring in business for the practice area, rather than relying on others to provide work for you to do.   Team/Practice Development:  - Develop and mentor junior staff, maximizing utilization of resources.   - Maintain and develop new or enhanced sources, resources, subcontractors.   - Develop sector or geographic specialism to act as expert across the region.   Required Skills : Excellent report writing & computer skills, information gathering, analytical & interpersonal skills, Decision making & judgement, problem solving skills.  Qualifications:  Essential:  - Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement)   - Excellent verbal and written English reporting skills   - Minimum of 5-8 years of commercial consulting experience   - Previous experience operating within a commercial environment in a Client facing role   - Proven experience of leading and conducting complex due diligence, business intelligence and problem-solving assignments   - Experience in use of corporate, media and other specialist databases.  Preferred:  - Working knowledge of one other language in India, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh.   - Network of investigative contacts and sources in the South Asia region.
