Senior Consultant-Analytics

Department/Division : Risk management

Designation : Sr. Consultant

Qualifications : Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, economics or other related discipline; or equivalent work experience.

Role Expectation :

- 4-7 years of experience working with analytics in a business environment.

- Exposure / understanding of model Validation/Development, scoring. Both Marketing and Risk model development/ validation is preferred.

- Detail oriented with ability to accurately gather and analyze data.

- Ability to create new ideas for statistical solutions to customer's business issues.

- Ability to apply analytical rigor to Verticals Markets- Retail Banking, Auto, Communications, Mortgage, Payments.

- Experience in the credit, marketing analytics arena is preferred.

- Should be flexible to work as an individual contributor

- Knowledge of credit bureau, housing and/or demographic data is a plus.

- Manipulate large amount of data and integrate diverse data sources into solutions.

- Should be self- motivated and have capability to mentor juniors.

Technical Skills - Desirable :

- Proficiency in SAS, knowledge of tools like Base SAS/ Stat, Graph.

- Experience with SAS and with UNIX environment is preferred.

- Exposure to handle large amount of data is a plus.

- Understanding of statistics concepts and exposure to segmentation tool is a plus.

- BFSI domain knowledge preferred

Primary Job Location : Bangalore

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with offshore client.

- Should be able to communicate well with multiple departments in solving cross-departmental issue.
