Senior Commissioning Engineer - Owners Engineer - Power Plant

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage/Oversee end to end, all aspects of Commissioning the Power Plant in Owner's Engineer role.

- Responsible for review and certification of Construction Completion Certification, Safety Release Clearance Certificates, review and approval of commissioning procedures, lead the witnessing and approval of pre-commissioning tests and I & C cold function tests, hot commissioning including process tests for Power and Desalination plant, organizing and coordinating/conducting daily and weekly commissioning progress review meetings, etc. for the complete Power and Desalination plant.

- Co-ordination of plant commissioning and performance testing with the external stake holders.

- In charge to oversee and approve the testing and commissioning activities of Gas Turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Steam Turbines, Multi Stage Flash Desalination units and Auxiliary Boilers.

- Conduct monthly and weekly progress meetings during Commissioning whereby ensuring timely completion of the project as per requirements and standards.

- Responsible for overseeing the completion of Training for O & M staff, submission of O & M Manuals, As Built Drawings etc.

Preferred Candidate

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

- Ability to interact with cross cultural counterparts.

- Hands on experience and knowledge on commissioning of Automatic Generation Control, Plant Master Control, Grid Frequency Control, Island Operation and Black Start Operation.

- Go- getter attitude with ability to drive and lead multiple teams simultaneously.

- Power Plant experience is mandatory-
