Title: Senior Category Manager

Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

Management of entire category life cycle involving customizing category features, packaging, pricing based on global consumer needs , launch, ongoing operations and expansion of category.

Ownership of Top Line and Bottom Line of the category for the online business and P&L Management.

Develop the core positioning and messaging for the category.

Driving the complete category strategy & roadmap, category development priorities, and release plans.

Set strategic category direction based on customer and business needs.

Conduct comprehensive industry trend analysis, including market, competitive and pricing trends.

Develop sales enablement tools and train sales team to win in the category.

Drive, manage and track sales productivity initiatives and online marketing campaign for the said category.

Desired Candidate Profile:

MBA with Overall 5 to 8 years of experience in B2C business with at least 3 years in product management/category management role.

A proven history of growing revenue.

Experience in internet, FMCG, Telecom companies preferred.

Exposure and understanding of digital marketing is expected.

Must be highly self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient.

High energy levels and passion to build world class category.

Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority.
