Job Title : Senior Business Analyst- Dodd Frank Act
Location : Pune
Relevant Experience :
Minimum 10 years of overall experience with at least 8 years of relevant BA experience in capital market regulatory compliance area. Strong domain knowledge and prior experience in Risk Management and Dodd Frank Act reporting.
Role description:
- To be the business analyst focusing on Dodd Frank Act regulation reporting program
- Gather requirements from a number of business areas and map the business processes in meaningful way to derive material information to support the overall program.
- Liaising with different teams as required and coordinating all activities related to the work stream, including managing business sign-off
- To help support the design and analysis phase of the program.
- Extensive stakeholder management
- Perform current state analysis for the process and participate in design of Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Developing functional specifications document and obtain sign off from respective stakeholders.
- Manage traceability throughout the project life cycle, ensuring that each delivery stage of the project is meeting the business requirements
- Provide input to and support in test planning / scenarios creation activity
- Develop overall strategy and approach for functional, regression, performance and User Acceptance Testing. Participate in UAT
- Designing and agreeing solutions to problems with the relevant stakeholders
- Outlining and reviewing requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
Skill, experience, qualifications and knowledge required :
- Experience with banking and Capital markets clients in a product control or business analysis capability
- Experience with capital markets products such as fixed income, equities, financing and understanding of trade life cycle for those products from execution to settlement
- Experience with regulatory initiatives such as : Dodd Frank Act implementation
- Experience in implementation of financial services regulatory programs
- Basic understanding of databases such MS Access, SQL
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including Stakeholder management
- Ability to define analysis approach, conclude and summarize findings
- Experience working within the Investment Banking industry

- Ensuring business requirements and benefits are clearly articulated, syndicated and integrated within the project
- Ensuring that the testing and quality approach adopted by the project will demonstrate that the business requirements have been delivered
- Utilizing clear, consistent, and targeted communication across the stakeholder group
