Description:Senior Business Analyst, JDA is a Core Domain Consultant position in Retail & CPG. To be an active partner in steering the client's organizations with fact based material and analyze for optimization, utilization and improvements for the business. The activities include (but not limited to), making significant contributions by way of solutioning ideas, solving pressing business problems and creatively looking for new opportunities using JDA solutions in the Retail/CPG business areas.

Responsibilities:

- JDA Analyst, specifically skilled in configuration with Demand, Fulfillment, Demand Classification and Demand 360

- Work closely with the business to determine needs and potential projects.

- Stay abreast of best practices in JDA and the industry at large in relation to business processes and procedures.

- Provide functional direction to ensure solutions align with and meet customers- business requirements

- JDA Demand and Fulfillment trusted advisor to business partners. Will stay close with business partners to understand retail business initiatives and advise best practices within JDA tool.

- Gather requirements and design enhancements to Demand and Fulfillment system processes

- Experience in Scoping, Analysis and assessment of Macro& Macro space planning using packages such as JDA's Space Planning and Floor planning suite

- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

- Experience with complex implementations that include custom solutions associated with JDA

- Conversant with Data manager / Space automation features with Additional understanding/ exposure to POGGEN, Assortment optimization preferable.

Skills & Qualifications:

- At least 7 years of hands-on JDA configuration experience.

- Project management or Project Lead experience is very beneficial.

- Experience working with business users in requirements collection very helpful.

- Extensive knowledge of Retail/CPG Business processes and its dependencies.

- Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and process flows

- Experience in software development efforts through the entire project lifecycle is an advantage.

- Exceptional communication skills, this includes written and verbal communications

- The ability to act as liaison conveying information in suitably accurate models between the business unit and their counterparts within Information Technology.

- Must be a Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.

- Ability to Travel (short term/Long term) to any client location within short notice of time (2 weeks) is a must.
