Senior Business Analyst - IT - BFSI

Job Description :

The role would be part of the team responsible for building and managing liquidity related financial applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- As the Sr. Business Analyst, the candidate will identify and manage requirement Stakeholders, through effective artefacts

- The candidate will manage requirements provided by multiple stakeholders that transcend product management, operations, implementations and diversely/disparately located technology groups

- The candidate will create Documentation & Presentation artefacts on Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Use Cases, Logical Diagrams and Data samples

- In addition the candidate will review High Level Designs, Test Plans, Strategy and Test cases

- The candidate will assist in the overall software delivery process by means of scope management, sizing and planning

- The candidate will lead in organizing and conducting reviews relating to requirements with the direction of improving the quality of requirements deliverables

- The candidate will provide effective and timely status update to senior stakeholders and management

- The candidate will identify and articulate business problems and provide solution options with benefits and risks

- The candidate will assist in Global Rollout of liquidity applications (enhancements) by conducting workshops for regional business and technology teams globally

- The candidate will assist in the project life-cycles like System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as well as production issue clarifications

- The candidate will assist in exhaustive Data Analysis/ Data Migration Analysis for smooth transition from legacy applications to new platforms as applicable

- The candidate will perform complex scenario analysis for new requirements involving combinatorial and multi system analysis

- The candidate will provide clarifications and incident analysis under high pressure environments (Production outage situations) to minimize customer impact.

Knowledge/Experience :

- 6 - 8 years of experience in Business Analyst role within system development environment in Banking and Capital Markets

- Subject Matter Expert in line of businesses oriented to transaction banking, preferably on Liquidity Management / Cash Concentration

- Have hands on Business Analyst experience in Global Transaction Banking or Payments and Reporting systems

- Excellent team player but also excelling in working on own initiative

- Deliver within tight timelines, within budget maintaining high quality

- Expert in various Requirements Engineering skills such as Data analysis and functional Analysis, Gap analysis, conducting requirement workshops and walkthroughs, solution validation

- Proficient in Business Process Modelling (BPM), Writing Use Cases, AS-IS and TO-BE modelling, Process Flow diagrams, Data Flow diagrams and Logical Data Modelling

- Excellent in MS office suits - Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree or higher (with specialization in computers, information technology)

- Candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on as-needed basis in order to interact witUS onshore team and to meet urgent requests by Clients

- Professional certification in business analysis is desired but not mandatory
