Sr Business Analyst/ Business Intelligence Manager

Overview of the job :

- We are looking for a rock star data artisan to work with cross-functional teams to frame business challenges & opportunities from a data perspective to lead data-driven decisions.

- Among others things, you will ensure capture of the right data, develops algorithms, performs analysis, and makes recommendations to lead data-driven decisions in product design, development, marketing, sales, and customer service.

The incumbent will be accountable for :

- Work with an energetic and highly skilled team of professionals and business leaders

Major Responsibilities :

- Work with teams across business functions to understand challenges, and design data driven solutions to optimize and improve performance-Use data to identify gaps and opportunities across business functions.

- Define key trends, KPIs to communicate to the senior management and other functions, Develop robust and accurate processes to communicate the same periodically.

- Model data for dashboards/reporting/statistical purposes, Perform ad-hoc analyses that translate into actionable insights

- Contribute to standardization of the data mining processes/statistical methodologies and building a in-house knowledge base & Engage with BI Vendors/Suppliers as necessary

- Primary responsibility to ensure the quality and integrity of data across the entire spectrum of data collected, analysed and communicated by the team

- Visualize and develop BI solutions (Dashboards, Scorecards, Analytic reports, MIS reports) that show top management clear opportunities for revenue growth based on sales, customer, and industry data

- Visualize and develop BI solutions that help operational teams maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction in day-to-day operations

- Work cross functionally with marketing, customer service, delivery, CRM and finance teams to develop BI reports for key functions

- Manage and grow a team of developers who will build, test, and debug BI solutions that you conceptualize.

- Provide research and analysis, strategic insights on key markets, competitors and targets to support business development efforts in the region.

- Produce competitive intelligence analysis reports and analysis of key targets

- Monitor key markets, competitors and targets identify opportunities or threats.

- Work on strategic projects-Debrief internal stakeholders to gather and analyse intelligence.

- Oversee Intel accuracy/quality following standard operating procedures.

- Produce different types of analysis and produce reports of the results for the VC and CXO management.

Technical Skills :

- Understands data modelling

- Proficient in Excel

- Hands-on expertise in relevant tools - SQL, Business Intelligence (Congnos, BO, Pentaho, Qlikview), Web Analytics (GA, Omniture etc.), Statistical (R, SAS, SPSS etc.)
