Senior Associate - Risk Monitoring - Small Business Loan - Direct Origination (2-5 yrs)

This opening is exclusively for those candidates who have experience of "ORIGINATION" of Small Business Loans

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for suitable candidates for risk monitoring function for its recently launched Direct Origination business. The candidate will be part of the Risk-Monitoring team and reporting to Associate Director- Risk Monitoring team.

The position involves effective management of the portfolio quality by continuous monitoring of all the branches assigned for monitoring of Small Business Loans portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

The position requires extensive travel (10-15 days a month on regular basis) and on-the-field presence. Key responsibilities are as follows:

1. Monitoring & Compliance: To conduct frequent monitoring visits to all the branches assigned and ensure adherence to laid down policies and all processes being followed for the loan products sourced for company.

2. Reporting: Submits periodic monitoring reports on time and highlights issues to the Risk Monitoring Head.

3. Concurrent Audit: To perform concurrent audit of all loans disbursed on monthly basis.

4. Risk Mitigation:To identify and analyse risks related to the Small business loan origination process and make recommendations to take necessary risk mitigation.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

- Degree or Post Graduate Degree in finance or business administration.

- 2 to 4 years- experience on a supervisory role in NBFC doing secured/unsecured loans.

- Good understanding of the unsecured/secured lending in the informal segment of small business loans.

- Good understanding of mortgage creation.

- Ability to stretch oneself and work under pressure, handle multiple deliverables simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

- Undertake all other duties and projects as may be assigned from time to time and be proactive in taking new initiatives/ responsibilities

- The candidate should be open to relocation to any place throughout India

- Good interpersonal, relationship management, customer service, and rapport building skills.

- Good written and verbal communication in English. Knowing any regional language will be added advantage (Preferred - Marathi)

- Strong computer skills (Excel, Power point and word.)
