About our Client - Our client is a truly global player in the banking arena. They are expanding their business setup in India owing to strong performances. The role is based out of Delhi NCR and they are looking for a Senior Associate to lead their wholesale credit risk team. The division is relatively new and is going through a significant growth phase

Job Description - Reporting to the Team Manager, you will be responsible for the development and validation of wholesale models along with the following responsibilities :

- Using statistical tools to perform regression analysis related to model design, estimation and monitoring

- Establishing the scope within which the models will function and their real time application

- Ensuring the compliance of the risk models with the regulatory and internal policies

- Presenting the model reviews to senior stakeholders for approval

The Successful Candidate :

- As a successful applicant, you will have strong statistical analysis and detailed regulatory knowledge along with the following requirements:

- Have a Masters Degree in Statistics/ Economics/ Management from a top tier institution like the IITs/ISI/ IIMs/ MDI/ XLRI etcetera

- Excellent project management and people skills

- 6+ Years of solid experience in PD, LGD, EAD models along with strong quantitative skills, ideally within a financial services setup

- Strong experience on statistical tools like SAS, SQL etc. is essential
