Senior Associate - Legal - BFSI

Job Requirements :

Minimum experience of 7-8 years in legal industry(preferably in corporate legal/corporate law) in the following areas :

1. The candidate must have excellent drafting skills and good command over English.

2. Expert in Drafting and vetting of Agreements, MoUs, Joint Venture Agreements, Property Documents.

3. Experience in M&A, IPR and other corporate and legal activities.

4. Experience in drafting and vetting of deed of hypothecation or loan agreements or guarantees or counter guarantees or any other legal documents, etc.

5. Coordination with the lawyers of the company, preparation of case papers.

6. Good Knowledge of section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, recovery proceedings, activities under SARFAESI Act.

7. Good knowledge of Companies Act, Listing Regulations, FEMA, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act, Registration Act, etc.

8. Excellent analytical skills so as to analyze and opine on various statutory provisions.

9. Candidate from a reputed law firm/ banking industry having hands on the above shall be preferred

Education: Graduation/Post Graduation(Law) from a reputed law university.
