Senior Associate - Equity Research - Investment Bank

Looking for candidate in to Equity Research covering Diversified industries/Heavy machinery/Aerospace/Defense/capital goods.

Job responsibilities

- The Associate's main responsibility is to support the analyst with coverage of the existing stocks and help launch new coverage.

- The associate will help in building and maintaining models, maintaining and running data analysis on industry databases and covering earnings. The associate will help prepare research presentations and research notes for internal and external use.

- There will be thematic work alongside supporting daily coverage, including managing weekly and monthly products. There will also be opportunities to work on global products.

Types of projects may include, but are not limited to:

- Updating and building detailed excel models.

- Maintenance and development of databases covering financial metrics, earnings and operating metrics

- Performing regular tasks promptly and without supervision and providing regular reports to the analyst including analysis of regularly released industry statistics, sector news etc.

- Publishing thematic research reports with extensive analysis of key emerging issues

- Helping prepare in-depth company reports on existing coverage

- Performing ad hoc client requests, often to deadlines

- Support the analyst in developing new products

- Preparation of maintenance research products such as preview notes and results notes.

- Initiation of coverage on new stocks.
